Exclusive Wines & Liquors

Instagram content, product photography, and community engagement for a Brooklyn wine & liquor shop — shot on location, edited, captioned, and posted.

The corner store, leveled up.

The Project

Exclusive Wines & Liquors is a neighborhood wine and liquor shop in Brooklyn. Being local meant I could show up in person — shooting the products, the people, and the day-to-day, then turning it into an Instagram feed that made the shop look as good online as it did on the block.

The Challenge

Most corner liquor stores have no real online presence — a dusty Google listing and maybe a blurry photo. Exclusive wanted a feed that actually looked intentional: clean product shots, real faces, and posts that reminded the neighborhood they could order pickup or delivery.

The Approach

01

Shot everything on location — bottles, staff, and customers — so the feed felt authentic and local, not stock.

02

Edited and color-graded every image in Lightroom so the whole grid shared one consistent, premium look.

03

Styled clean, reflective product shots (Belaire, Hennessy, Effen, Smirnoff, Moscato) that made everyday bottles look elevated.

04

Wrote captions in the shop's voice and posted consistently to keep the page active.

05

Handled community engagement — replies and comments — so the page felt like a real neighborhood spot, and highlighted the Uber Eats pickup & delivery option.

Key Design Decisions

Decision 1

Color-graded everything to a warm, consistent tone so the grid reads as one cohesive brand, not a pile of random phone pics.

Decision 2

Leaned into glossy store lighting and reflections so the bottles pop against the shelves.

Decision 3

Mixed product shots with people shots — a feed of only bottles feels like a catalog; faces make it a community.
