& Policies

General Policies — All Services

Payment Structure

• →A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before any work begins. This secures your spot and covers time already committed to your project.
• →The remaining 50% is due before delivery — before final files are sent, the site goes live, or any assets are transferred.
• →All payments are processed via Stripe (credit/debit card). Payment links are sent via email.
• →Work does not begin until the deposit payment is confirmed.

Rush Fee

Projects requiring delivery in under 7 business days are subject to a +25% rush fee on the total project cost. Rush availability is not guaranteed and must be confirmed before booking.

Revisions — Standard Policy

• →All services include 2 rounds of revisions unless otherwise noted per service below.
• →A "round" is one consolidated batch of feedback submitted at the same time — not individual changes sent over multiple messages.
• →Revisions do not include scope changes — adding pages, redesigning layouts after approval, or changing the project direction.
• →Additional revision rounds are available at the per-service rate listed below.

Client Responsibilities

• →All written content, images, credentials, and brand assets must be provided within 5 business days of project kickoff.
• →If materials are not delivered on time, your project timeline adjusts accordingly — we cannot begin design or development without client-provided content.
• →If we do not receive a response within 2 weeks of sending work for review, the project is paused. A $99 restart fee applies to resume.

Cancellation Policy

• →Before work begins: Full refund of deposit.
• →After work begins: Deposit is non-refundable. It covers time already spent on your project.
• →Partial completion: The remaining balance is prorated based on the percentage of work completed at time of cancellation.

Ownership & Rights

Design & Creative Rights

• →All creative work — including logos, visual designs, brand assets, graphics, and content layouts — remains the property of The Jeune Creation until final payment is received in full.
• →Upon final payment, full commercial rights to the creative work transfer to you. You may use the delivered files for any legitimate business purpose.
• →The Jeune Creation retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Code & Technical Infrastructure

• →The underlying code, scripts, and technical infrastructure built for your project are included in your final delivery — you receive everything needed to run your site.
• →By default, your site is hosted and deployed under accounts managed by The Jeune Creation as part of the required Managed Hosting plan ($29/mo).
• →If you want the code repository and deployment accounts transferred to accounts registered in your own name, a one-time Infrastructure Transfer fee of $499 applies. After transfer, you own and manage the infrastructure independently.

Domain Name

• →Your domain name is always registered in your name, through your own registrar account (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap). The Jeune Creation never registers domains on behalf of clients.
• →You are solely responsible for renewing your domain registration.

Third-Party Assets

• →Fonts, stock images, plugins, icons, or other third-party assets used in your project may carry their own licensing terms. Commercial licenses for these are either your responsibility to purchase, or will be noted explicitly in your project quote.
• →The Jeune Creation is not liable for third-party license violations that arise from client use outside the agreed scope.

Portfolio Rights

• →We reserve the right to feature your completed project in our portfolio, on social media, and in marketing materials.
• →If you require confidentiality, notify us in writing before the project begins and we will honor that request.

What's Never Included

Unless explicitly quoted and confirmed in writing, the following are never included in any service:

• ✕Written copy or content. All text for your website, brand materials, or social posts must be written and provided by you. We design around your words — we do not write them.
• ✕Domain registration or renewal. You purchase and maintain your own domain.
• ✕Email platform subscriptions. Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, or similar tools are not included unless explicitly quoted.
• ✕Stock photography or licensed imagery. Unless bundled, all images must be provided by the client or licensed separately.
• ✕Premium fonts. Commercial font licenses are the client's responsibility unless we specify otherwise.
• ✕Third-party plugin or software fees. Booking systems, scheduling software, payment processors, CRMs, and similar tools may carry their own costs.
• ✕Ecommerce or booking integrations. These require a custom quote and are not included in standard website packages.
• ✕Ongoing SEO management. We set up on-page SEO foundations. Ongoing SEO campaigns are a separate engagement.

Photography

Session Policy

• →Sessions are final. We do not offer reshoot sessions for changed preferences, outfits, or subjects after the shoot date.
• →Your outfit, location, and shot list must be confirmed before the session date.
• →Cancellation or rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice forfeits the full deposit.

Deliverables

• →25 professionally edited photos delivered via a private gallery link
• →Standard editing: color correction, exposure adjustment, cropping
• →Delivered within 7–10 business days of the shoot
• →Commercial use license included for business marketing

What's NOT Included

• ✕Raw or unedited files
• ✕Heavy retouching (body modification, background replacement, compositing) — quoted separately
• ✕Additional edited photos beyond 25: $15/photo
• ✕Studio rental fees (if location requires a paid studio)
• ✕Travel outside NYC metro area without prior quote

Additional Services

Landing Page Sprint — $349

One high-converting single page, designed and built in 48 hours. Ideal for product launches, ad campaigns, or link-in-bio pages. Requires Managed Hosting ($29/mo). Client provides all copy and imagery.

Local SEO Setup — $249

Google Business Profile setup and optimization, local maps visibility, review collection link, and local keyword foundations. Does not include ongoing SEO management or ranking guarantees.

Brand Strategy Session — $149

60-minute 1:1 video session covering positioning, pricing, content strategy, or any brand topic you choose. Written recap and action plan delivered within 24 hours. This is consulting — not design or implementation.

Email & Newsletter Setup — $199

Custom branded email template, welcome sequence (1–3 emails), and signup form connected to your site. Delivered in 3–5 business days. Does not include the email platform subscription (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.), which is the client's responsibility.

AI Visuals — Add-on Only

AI-enhanced creative assets are available as a bundled add-on to any project above. Not available as a standalone purchase. Usage rights are commercial (for your business marketing only). Not for redistribution, resale, or large-format print without prior approval. Client must provide a creative brief and reference images before we begin.

Digital Products — Shop Policy

No Refund Policy

All digital product sales are final. Due to the nature of digital files — which are delivered instantly and cannot be returned — we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits on shop purchases.

If you experience a technical issue accessing your files, email us within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve it promptly.

License

• →All digital products are licensed for personal and commercial use for your own business.
• ✕You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the files with third parties.
• ✕You may not claim the files as your own original work.
• ✕You may not use the files to create competing products or templates for sale.

Delivery

Digital products are delivered automatically to your email address within minutes of purchase. If you do not receive your files within 1 hour, check your spam folder first, then contact us at thejeunecreation@gmail.com.

Support

We provide basic file access support only. We do not provide implementation support, customization help, or design revisions for digital products. For custom work, see our services above.

Subscriptions & Cancellation

The following services are billed on a recurring monthly basis: Managed Hosting ($29/mo) and Website Care Plan ($99/mo).

Cancellation Terms

• →You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time with 30 days written notice via email to thejeunecreation@gmail.com.
• →Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial-month refunds are issued.
• →The Social Media Monthly Content Package requires a 3-month minimum commitment. After the minimum period, cancellation requires 30 days notice.

What Happens After Cancellation

• →Managed Hosting cancellation: Your site goes offline at the end of the billing period unless you have arranged an Infrastructure Transfer ($499) or migration to your own hosting independently.
• →Care Plan cancellation: No further edits or support will be provided after the final billing date. Your site remains live if Managed Hosting continues.
• →Client files and assets are retained for 90 days after cancellation. After that, they may be purged from our systems.
• →Your domain name is always in your control. Domain registration is unaffected by cancellation of any TJC service.

Communication & Expectations

• →We reply to all messages within 2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). This is our committed response window — you will typically hear from us sooner.
• →Primary communication is via email. Instagram DMs and other messages are for general questions only — all project feedback, approvals, and scope discussions must go through email for documentation.
• →Scope changes — anything outside the original agreed project — will be discussed and re-quoted before any additional work begins.
• →We reserve the right to decline any project at any time for any reason.

Privacy Policy

The Jeune Creation collects and processes personal information as part of operating our studio and delivering our services.

What We Collect

• →Inquiry form submissions: Name, email, business name, phone (optional), Instagram handle (optional), project description, budget, timeline, and referral source.
• →Shop purchases: Name, email address, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store card details).
• →Site analytics: Anonymous page view data to understand which pages are most visited. No personally identifiable information is captured in analytics.

How We Use It

• →To respond to inquiries and deliver services you've requested.
• →To send transactional emails (confirmation, quote, delivery).
• →To occasionally contact past inquiries about availability or new offerings. You may opt out at any time by replying to any email.

What We Don't Do

• ✕We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
• ✕We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics platforms.
• ✕We do not store payment card information (Stripe handles all payment processing).

Data Retention

Inquiry and client data is retained for as long as the relationship is active plus 90 days. Shop purchase records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your data by emailing us at thejeunecreation@gmail.com.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), Upstash (data storage). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these services.
